The service

Sosya Chat lets you exchange text messages and links one to one, in groups and in public channels. One-to-one chats and groups are end-to-end encrypted; public channels are not.

Who can use it

Anyone under 16 may not use Sosya Chat (our own minimum age of use is 16; GDPR Art. 8: the EU-level default age of digital consent is 16, lower in Bulgaria — this service is not offered to anyone under 16).

Your account and recovery key

• You sign in with SocialID or your phone number. Keep access to them; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Your encrypted message history can only be restored with your recovery key. We cannot read or reset it; if you lose it and all your devices, old encrypted messages cannot be recovered.

Prohibited content

Illegal content, harassment, hate speech, spam and sharing other people's personal data without permission are prohibited. Public channels can be reported via the contact page; we review reports and remove channels or accounts that break these rules.

Price

The service is free and shows contextual ads. An ad-free paid plan is not on sale yet.

Liability

Senders are responsible for the content of their messages. We try to keep the service available but cannot guarantee that it is always reachable.
